Parma is an independent, not-for-profit 348-bed hospital located on the Southwest side of Cuyahoga County in suburban Cleveland.

Hospitalist Program Profile
At Parma, the healthcare employment team of six full and part-time physicians provide on-site service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including PAT coverage and double physician/mid level provider coverage during the day. Day shifts are generally 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.; night shifts from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m., and the schedule consists of four to seven days on and four to seven days off. Each full time hospitalist will work up to 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month, consisting of approximately 12 and eight-hour shifts.
The Hospitalist Team provides service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.
The Hospitalist Program is an integral component for the delivery of inpatient healthcare at the hospital.

Parma is home to over 100,000 residents, hosts many small businesses and major industries, and is situated 12 miles southwest of Cleveland in Cuyahoga County.
The city offers a wide variety of recreational facilities including swimming pools, tennis courts, skating rinks, golf courses, baseball field, lakes, a senior citizens center and the Gibbs Farm of the Parma Historical Society.
Almost 90 acres of the Big Creek Metroparks System are also located in the city.
