Hospitalist Program Profile
At Our Lady of Lourdes, the Hospitalist Team of four full and part-time Internal Medicine hospitalist physicians will provide on-site service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Day shifts are generally 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., night shifts from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. The schedule consists of four to seven days on and four to seven days off. Each full time hospitalist will work up to 192 hours of clinical/professional medical services per month, consisting of approximately 16 twelve-hour shifts.
The Hospitalist Team will provide service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.
The Hospitalist Program is an integral component for the delivery of inpatient healthcare at the Hospital.
