• Mercy Medical Center is a 242 bed non-profit hospital located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
• The Medical Center is full service community hospital offering the areas only all private patient care units in addition to two specialty units for Adult and Pediatric Intensive Care, the Katz Cardiovascular Center, the Regional Cancer Center and the Outpatient Stroke and Vascular Clinic.

Hospitalist Program Profile

• At Mercy Medical Center, the Hospitalist Team of 7 full time equivalent physicians will provide 24 hour coverage, 7 days a week. Each full time hospitalist will work up to 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month, consisting of approximately 12 and eight hour shifts.                    
• The Hospitalist Team provides service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.
