Hospitalist Program Profile
At Mercy Medical Center, the Hospitalist Team of 7 full time equivalent physicians will provide 24 hour coverage, 7 days a week. Each full time hospitalist will work up to 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month, consisting of approximately 12 and eight hour shifts.
The Hospitalist Team provides service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.
