Ashtabula County Medical Center Profile

  • The Ashtabula County Medical Center (ACMC) is a private, non-profit hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services for Northeastern Ohio.
  • The 241-bed medical center is the largest in Ashtabula County and has been serving the community for over a century and employs more than 1,100 people.
  • Ashtabula County Medical Center offers the latest in diagnostic imaging services, with Cleveland Clinic radiologists on-site daily.
  • The Medical Center also offers a full service sleep lab, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and accredited rehab unit.

Hospitalist Program Profile

  • The Hospitalist Team of six to eight full time physicians will be on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each full time hospitalist healthcare job will provide up to 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month consisting of 12 and eight-hour shifts.
  • The Hospitalist Team provides service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.

  • Located approximately 60 miles east of Cleveland and 40 miles west of Erie, Pennsylvania, Ashtabula County Medical Center overlooks the Ashtabula River near Lake Erie.
