  • The hospital sees 30,000 annual ED visits that are comprised of a broad community pathology and age diversification including minor trauma and high medical acuity. Approximately 20% of patients seen in the ED are admitted.

Staff Hospitalist Profile

  • At Albany Memorial, the Hospitalist Team of five full and part time physicians provide on-site service 24/7/365. Each full time hospitalist will work 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month consisting of approximately 12 and eight-hour shifts and up to eight hours of non-clinical services per week.
  • The Hospitalist Team provides service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge.
